My creative process
ARTISTIC APPROACH
I draw my inspiration from the heart of Nordic forests. Each gaze from an animal becomes for me an open window onto a deep emotion that I seek to convey in my works.
Creating a painting is not just about putting paint on a canvas. It all starts with a feeling, an emotion that I carry within me and wish to share. The season, nature, the mood of the moment, encounters along my path, deer, birds, and many others, nourish this energy.
I work on canvas and wood panels, combining spontaneity and technical mastery to bring wild animals to life. I explore light, shadows, and texture to create compositions imbued with mystery and intensity.
A work of art is a living process. There are the hours spent in front of the canvas, of course, but also all those dedicated to preparation, reflection, and inspiration. The early mornings, driven by an irresistible urge to continue a creation. The late nights, when the mind is already shaping the next work. Then the exhaustion after finishing a painting, because all my energy has been poured into it.
There are also days without inspiration, the refreshing walks in the forest, moments of pride as well as doubt. Every moment, every emotion, every experience contributes to what the artwork becomes.
Guided by my instinct, I seek to establish a dialogue between you, the animal, and nature. Each work becomes an invitation to reconnect with wild beauty.
By sharing my creative process, from moments captured in nature with the animals around me, I invite you to enter this world and travel with me, right into the heart of my universe.
